Hi, I’m Cody Behrendt, the designer

I earned my Associate Degree in Multimedia Design from Ridgewater College in Hutchinson, Minnesota, in 2015. From the moment I stepped into their Multimedia Design program, I knew I wanted to turn creativity into something I could share with others.

​

Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with local businesses, organizations, clubs, and events—creating everything from branding and promotional materials to digital content and full rebrands.

​

I love taking an idea, figuring out what makes it stand out, and turning it into something people remember. Whether it’s a small project or a complete brand makeover, I’m always up for a creative challenge.

Experience That Goes Beyond the Basics

With 15+ years of experience in Multimedia Design, I’ve worked across a wide range of creative projects and industries. I’m experienced with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other industry-standard design programs.

​

For more than 8 years, I’ve worked in advertising and newspaper design, creating and formatting everything from magazines, brochures, flyers, banners, and books to advertisements for businesses of all sizes.

​

I’ve had the opportunity to work with large companies and corporations, while also helping small businesses, local organizations, and mom-and-pop shops throughout Minnesota create professional designs that get noticed.

Branding, Social Media & Packaging

​

My experience doesn’t stop at print. I’ve also managed social media accounts, developed branding, created packaging, and helped businesses build a recognizable look across multiple platforms.

​

One of my favorite experiences was working with Mankato Brewery, where I spent 8 years helping develop their visual identity. From managing social media to designing labels and packaging, I had the opportunity to help create and redesign some of their most recognizable beer brands.

​

It was an incredible experience being part of the creative process behind products that went from an idea on a screen to something people could actually pick up, enjoy, and recognize on the shelf.​​​
